- Sorry to say so many of you are clueless. Of course Federal employees still get a pension. They can no longer collect in their forties. Their benefits are way higher than most private companies as has been studied by any number of people.

- So after working for 40 years and having sufficient assets, I should be turned down because I am retired? It did harm any stay at home spouse. Reminds me of getting my first credit card in 1970. I worked at a relatively high paying job while my husband was in grad school.
